Dear Corey,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the hard work that you dedicated toward me over the past year or so. Thanks to your involvement I have been transformed as a student and have found the school that truly "fits" me. You began by assessing my academic interests and previous accomplishments. From this you and I were able to successfully determine a potential major path for me. This was great for me because, prior to that interaction, I really didn't know what I wanted to study while in college. You then suggested colleges and universities that best suited my particular interests and major selection. You opened my eyes to colleges that had never crossed my mind by building a list of schools from all parts of the country. I was astonished by all of the information you knew about any random school that I would bring up in conversation. You also instructed and guided me on all of the differences between public and private institutions.
I am also very thankful for your financial aid expertise as your knowledge of the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and scholarship opportunities, I was able to make my college decision with less of a concern over cost. After you and I developed a decent-sized list of possible schools you instructed me on the importance of visiting schools. Although I was at first daunted by the prospect of visiting so many schools, I ultimately realized how right you were. In fact, had I not visited Vanderbilt, I might not of ever made the decision to go there. To make my visits more worthwhile you even provided me with the best questions to ask and who to meet while I was at each school's campus. Once the application process began, you pointed me in the right direction with the countless college essay topics and you spent a lot of time editing multiple revisions of my essays. I am very thankful for your efforts in doing so, for there were plenty of embarrassing mistakes that I did not catch myself. Thankfully, you were there to look over them before I ever submitted them.
Over the past year I have discovered that the college admission process is a strange new world that is filled with uncertainty. As a result of this, the fee, for such an indispensible services as CollegeClarity, is just a small price for the knowledge, insight, and reward that you gain from it. I am ever thankful that you were able to help me find the college that suited me best. I thank you again for all of your time and effort as you have made the difference in my future.
Sincerely,
Matt D. (and parents)
